LAMDA Intensive Week A focused 5-day course for children who would like to build confidence, develop their performance skills and work towards a recognised LAMDA exam. Children will attend each day from 3pm–5pm, working in a small, supportive group with individual guidance from their teacher. During the week, they will explore performance technique, vocal expression, character, storytelling and confidence, while preparing their own LAMDA pieces. Before the course begins, each child will also receive a 20-minute Zoom call to meet their teacher, discuss their level and be given the pieces they will be working on throughout the week. This helps them arrive feeling prepared, confident and ready to get the most out of the intensive. The course is suitable for children at different levels, from those taking their first LAMDA exam to more experienced performers working towards higher grades. Higher-level LAMDA exams can also contribute towards UCAS points as children progress.
