Step into the world of Auradon and the Isle of the Lost for a fun-filled musical theatre week inspired by Descendants. Children will spend the week singing, dancing and acting as they work towards a fully staged mini-show — but instead of a live parent performance at the end of the week, their …morefinal piece will be professionally filmed by a real film crew. This won’t be a static camera at the back of the room. The children will get the exciting experience of performing on set, with multiple cameras, microphones and a proper production-style set-up to help them feel like they’re part of a movie musical. Across the week, they’ll learn choreography, practise scenes, develop bold characters and work together as a cast to create a show in just one week. Expect catchy songs, high-energy routines, dramatic moments and plenty of confidence-building fun. This workshop is perfect for children who love performing, whether they are already confident on stage or just beginning to find their voice. LAMDA Summer holiday intensive (10 - 14yrs)

LAMDA Intensive Week A focused 5-day course for children who would like to build confidence, develop their performance skills and work towards a recognised LAMDA exam. Children will attend each day from 3pm–5pm, working in a small, supportive group with individual guidance from their teacher. …moreDuring the week, they will explore performance technique, vocal expression, character, storytelling and confidence, while preparing their own LAMDA pieces. Before the course begins, each child will also receive a 20-minute Zoom call to meet their teacher, discuss their level and be given the pieces they will be working on throughout the week. This helps them arrive feeling prepared, confident and ready to get the most out of the intensive. The course is suitable for children at different levels, from those taking their first LAMDA exam to more experienced performers working towards higher grades. Higher-level LAMDA exams can also contribute towards UCAS points as children progress.
